Speed Dial

To use this function you must specify a speed dial number in the Cisco CallManager. Contact your

CallManager administrator for assistance. You may also have access to the CallManager user

administration page, which allows you to enter your own speed dials directly.

Barge

Barge is a new feature in CallManager 3.2. In order to use this feature, it must be enabled in the

CallManager.

The barge feature allows a user to join a call that is already in progress. The user can monitor the

call in progress and participate in the call. This feature supports shared lines only. A shared line

is a directory number that appears on more then one device in a partition (in other words, a

number that appears on two phones).

The barge soft key is only present when the target user has placed a phone call.

If a barge target places a phone call, a barge initiator gets the screen below:
